Flowers are a universal gift that is always relevant and can please any person with a manifestation of attention, love, care. But, there are exceptions - people with flower allergies. Even the brightest, attractive floristic composition, which was compiled with special tenderness and trepidation, will, at best, cause a runny nose among allergy sufferers, and spoil the holiday a little. However, this does not mean that a lady with a flower allergy should be deprived of these wonderful flower surprises. If you know which plant varieties will not cause allergies, you can choose the right composition and the gift will be completely safe, and the holiday will be bright and cheerful.
Which flowers should not be presented to allergy sufferers, and which ones can you buy without fear?
The most dangerous flowers for allergy sufferers include the following plants:
all kinds of wildflowers;
gerberas;
chrysanthemums;
sunflowers;
hyacinths.
In addition, it is strictly not recommended to add spikelets to flower arrangements: rye, wheat, oats and others. Ferns should also be avoided.

Breeders are now quite actively taking up work on the creation of unique varieties of plants that will not cause any reaction among allergy sufferers even in the presence of a characteristic aroma. Of course, the least dangerous for allergy sufferers are plants that have a subtle scent or no scent at all. Colors that do not cause allergies include:
Orchids. These are exotic flowers with a delicate, unobtrusive scent. The main thing is that these "beauties" do not have pollen, due to which they can be given even to asthmatics.
Roses. These plants have a rather bright aroma, but the buds have such a unique structure that traps pollen inside, respectively, the risks of a specific reaction of the body are minimal.
Eustoma. Outwardly, these flowers resemble roses. They have a less bright aroma, but at the same time they smell quite nice. The buds have an airy shape, but the pollen is large and heavy, so it does not rise into the air.
Tulips. These are surprisingly delicate, aromatic plants that contain practically no pollen, which makes them ideal for allergy sufferers.
If your lady doesn't like any of the flowers presented above, pay attention to alstroemeria. Outwardly, they are somewhat similar to lilies, but definitely not in terms of allergenicity, since they practically do not smell. The inflorescences contain a minimum amount of pollen, due to which the plants are safe for allergy sufferers.
What houseplants to give for an allergy sufferer?
Indoor plants should be chosen in the same way as other flowers. At the time of flowering, houseplants are also capable of exuding a rather harsh, characteristic aroma and small pollen. Therefore, the best solution is home flowers with smooth leaves. We recommend paying attention to the following options:
orchids;
dracaena;
hibiscus;
ficuses;
chlorophytums;
ivy;
crocuses;
potted hydrangeas;
non-flowering cactus species.
A good solution is potted roses. Firstly, they bloom beautifully and look no worse than ordinary decorative roses. Secondly, they bloom quite often and will delight their owner for many years.
If you still do not want to take risks and are afraid for the girl's health, we recommend not experimenting with fresh flowers and just order a luxurious edible bouquet for her. A candy or marshmallow bouquet will look great, which in the future she will be able to eat with you, and even the risks of allergies will not arise.
