Historical facts
Black roses popular all over the world live in one of the cities of Turkey, Halfeti. In appearance, they are absolutely identical to the classic red rose, but their color delights many, coal black, as if dyed, but completely natural by nature.
The rose got its unique color thanks to the underground waters flowing from the Euphrates. The rose blooms all summer. Initially, the shade of a rose is burgundy and gradually it begins to darken, by the end of summer it becomes almost black.
In greenhouse conditions, dark varieties were grown, of course not the same as in Halfeti, but they boggle the imagination, especially under non-natural lighting. It is the black and red varieties that are called in floristry that very famous black queen of roses. It would be unusual to see a black flower, but it turns out that the rose does not even have a black gene. Growing it as dark as possible is only possible by limiting direct sunlight.
Most recently, the so-called black rose Black Baccarat was bred in France. Breeders of other countries really admire such a dark shade, because in the autumn season it becomes almost black. But in the summertime, the black rose still becomes maroon.
Temperature and watering
If the rose lives at home, the ideal temperature is from +10 to +25 degrees. They do not like overheating in the heat at all. It is advisable to ventilate the room and shade the rose from the sun's rays.
The rose is a rather capricious flower, it needs regular watering and feeding. The soil must be controlled from drying out, otherwise the plant may be lost. The smaller the pot, the more often you need watering and soil control. Be sure to drain off excess water after watering to maintain a suitable climate for the root system. The warmer the temperature, the more often watering will be required; in cloudy weather, you just need to maintain soil moisture.
Lighting and humidity

Such a capricious queen will have to find an auspicious corner. A place with good lighting is suitable, but not too hot, a western or eastern position of the window is better. During the summer, be sure to monitor the heating of the plant to prevent drying out.
Roses feel harmonious in a humid environment. They cannot stand dry air at all. If the plant is in the house, it should be sprayed with water at room temperature about every other day. But roses blooming in the garden or on the balcony require warm spraying of water once a week.
Flowering and soil
In indoor conditions, the flower will periodically delight you throughout the year, the rosebud itself blooms for about two weeks.
Roses prefer loose soil, so even in a pot it can sometimes be gently loosened.
